The ProTaper NEXT™ XA file is the same file as the ProTaper® Universal SX file (A041021910100, A041021910101), with the same file design and made out of standard NiTi alloy.
This variable tapered file is used to help gain straight line access, or to flare the coronal portion of the root canal. It has a tip size of 0.19mm and overall length of 19mm.
